Gwido Charles Aldo Research Assistant and Educator for Saving People Saving Snakes
Gwido Aldo was born in Morogoro and received his Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife and Tourism Management from Mweka College of African Wildlife Management in 2019. During college he gained experience in national parks across Tanzania, and monitored butterflies with the Painted Lady Migration Project. He currently works with Tanzania Snake Conservation Education and Awareness (TASCEA) developing and delivering snake educational awareness programs in schools, industries, and to local residents through workshops, webinars, social media, and community events. He also collaborates with local authorities to identify and protect critical snake habitats. Aldo is a part of Wild Nature Institute’s Saving People, Saving Snakes education project, and assists with giraffe photographic identification surveys.
